Steve has lived at Higgins Beach in Scarborough since 1997 on a full-time basis and for 50+ years before that on a part-time basis.

A retired engineering and software executive, Steve currently keeps busy in real estate for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Cape Elizabeth.  He has been very active in beach issues since his return to Maine and maintains a web site dedicated to the Higgins Beach surroundings and produces an annual movie on scenes and events around the beach for residents and friends of the beach. 

Steve has served on steering committee for the annual State of Maine Beaches Conference since its inception.  Steve joined the SOS board in 2003.
